Jackson Walker Sponsors ORIX Foundation Gala this September

ORIX’s relationship with law firm Jackson Walker has continued to flourish for sixteen years. Our companies share a passion for philanthropy that is fueled by hundreds of employees who are committed to giving back. We are excited to announce that Jackson Walker recently committed to be the lead sponsor of our Foundation Dinner and Gala with a $30,000 sponsorship. The 80s themed party is Friday, September 23, at Sixty Five Hundred in Dallas.

“Jackson Walker is proud to represent clients like ORIX who genuinely care about our community, and involve their employees and business partners in those efforts,” said Gary Fowler, a partner at Jackson Walker. “As a labor and employment lawyer, I have seen how this not only helps the community but also builds team working, morale, and a greater sense of purpose for the organization.  We’re honored to be the lead sponsor for this year’s Foundation Dinner and Gala.”

ORIX Assistant General Counsel Nicola Hobeiche began working with Gary more than 10 years ago when Jackson Walker was selected as ORIX’s law firm. Through their work together, Nicola and Gary discovered a shared passion for giving back to the community at a fundraiser for the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra, and today their teams continue to volunteer with the same organizations, including work with Community Partners of Dallas.

Jackson Walker generously increased their sponsorship by $5,000 from their support of last year’s event. The law firm has given a total of $62,500 to support the annual fundraising dinner since 2012, when Gary Fowler personally contributed half of that year’s sponsorship. His interest in our work has inspired the foundation to work even harder to build stronger communities.

“Gary and his team have seen firsthand how we responsibly invest in our community. We have a special professional relationship that is built on a shared passion for philanthropy,” said Nicola, who is also an ORIX Foundation board member. “They appreciate our in-depth process to selecting our grantees and know their money is wisely invested back into our community where it can make the greatest impact. We are honored to share this special evening with great friends and partners, and are grateful for their continued trust in our foundation.”
