Generosity of Employees Helps ORIX Foundation Achieve Largest Giving Year to Date

The employees of ORIX USA and RED Capital Group made a significant impact on the lives of children, families and veterans in 2016. With their help, the ORIX Foundation closed its annual giving cycle with $2,321,500 in grants to nonprofit organizations in North Texas and the Columbus, Ohio area.

We increased investment in our community by over $212,000, making 2016 the largest giving year since our formation in 2009. And we are proud to announce that with 2016 contributions, we have achieved a noteworthy milestone of over $10 million in philanthropic giving.

Our employees saw how the life-changing work of local charities was more critical than ever in 2016, and they stepped up through financial support and countless hours of volunteering to help nonprofits achieve their missions. Whether contributing to the fallen officers fund or volunteering their time to make sure children in Child Protective Services had a special holiday celebration, the employees of ORIX USA and RED Capital are committed to giving back.

Grants were distributed to organizations representing six strategic giving areas, including children at risk, basic needs, healthcare, veteran support, education and empowerment. In addition to investments made during the regular giving cycle, ORIX Foundation raised $163,000 during its 2016 holiday giving campaign to support Heroes for Children.
